Warren Buffett once said “Someone’s sitting in the shade today because someone planted a tree a long time ago.” With much zeal & rightful onus, Management Development Institute Gurgaon organized a tree plantation drive on 26th July 2023 amidst the lush manicured gardens of the campus. Our respected Acting Director Prof. Sangeeta Shah Bhardwaj commenced this green drive by planting a Mango tree sapling, followed by our esteemed faculty sowing more of Gulmohar & Neem saplings in the verdant lawns. With every seedling being bedded in soil, watered, and nurtured, each participant felt pride in doing our bit to save the environment, to serve mother earth.
While B-schools like ours hone leaders to create a better world, we all must not forget to be responsible citizens ourselves to begin the change with.
