Management Development Institute Gurgaon celebrated Convocation 2024 at its lush green campus on 23rd March 2024. The convocation ceremony was conducted under the revered presence of Shri S. N. Subrahmanyan, Chairman & Managing Director of Larsen & Toubro Limited, who graced the occasion as the Hon'ble Chief Guest.
The celebratory ceremony was also graced by the Shri Rajnish Kumar (Chairman - BOG, MDI), Prof. Arvind Sahay (Director, MDI Gurgaon), eminent Deans, and esteemed faculty members, graduating students, parents, and all the guests. On this memorable occasion, 13 Fellow scholars, 29 students of PGDM-Business Management Programme, 46 students of PGDM (Erstwhile PGDM-Executive), 315 students of PGDM, 125 students of PGDM-HRM, 118 students of PGDM-IB, totaling 646 students, were awarded their diplomas, marking their transition into the alumni community of MDI Gurgaon. Among them, 19 outstanding students were honored with medals in recognition of their exemplary performance and dedication to excellence. This year's cohort exemplifies the spirit of achievement and intellectual prowess that defines MDI Gurgaon's legacy. With students from diverse backgrounds, including management, finance, and marketing, receiving their diplomas, the institute remains committed to nurturing future leaders who will make a meaningful impact in their respective fields.
Continuing the legacy, MDI Gurgaon remained a top choice for fresh talent by recruiters. A total of 152 organizations participated in the final-placement process this year, including 89 new ones and recruited students from MDI. The highest salary offered this time was Rs. 63 Lakhs. The median salary for PGDM recorded was 26.50 lakhs. The median salary for PGDM-IB recorded was 22.50 lakhs. The median salary for PGDM-HRM recorded was 24 lakhs. The top 10 percentile for PGDM secured 44 LPA. The top 10 percentile for PGDM-HRM secured 34 LPA. The top 10 percentile for PGDM-IB secured 43 LPA. Placements of the PGDM-Business Management Batch for 2022-24 witnessed the highest CTC of Rs. 35 lakhs per annum and with an average CTC of approximately ?24.21 lakhs per annum.
