The Global Engagements Office manages students activities and play a crucial role of forming the bridge between the IRO and the students’ community.
The Office engages in activities like:
- Enhancing experience for exchange students at MDI
- Reviewing dormant partnerships
- New Partnerships and Collaborations
- Creating awareness about MDI-G at partner and non partners schools
- Represent MDI-G in various forums, conferences and meetings of international partners
- Searching other possible areas of collaboration and new partners
The student arm of the Global Engagements Office supports and coordinates all activities of international students at MDI. They take up activities such as the Buddy Programme, wherein International students on exchange to MDI are allocated MDI students as their buddies. Buddy Programme is undertaken to ensure smooth transition of International students to MDI and make their academics and stay in MDI worthwhile. for International students IRC team host cultural nights, movie nights and trips to historical and popular places full of Indian culture and heritage.
